Find broken links in your documentation.

Give us a public docs or help center URL. We’ll follow links within that documentation area and check linked pages for 404 errors. You’ll see where each broken link appears and whether it points inside your docs or elsewhere.

DOCS LINK CHECK

WHAT THE CHECK COVERS

Know which page needs a fix.

01

Start with your docs

Submit a page under a docs or help center path, or use a dedicated docs subdomain.

02

Check both directions

Inbound links point to another page in the selected docs area. Outbound links point beyond it. A 404 is listed under the page where the link was found.

03

Share a useful report

Review every scanned page, inspect broken and unverified links, and download an Excel workbook for your content or support team.

The check reads public HTML links, up to 40 pages and 240 distinct destinations. It does not sign in, run page JavaScript, or scan unlinked pages. Some sites block automated requests; those links are marked “Could not verify,” not 404.

KEEP DOCS USEFUL

A link check is one part of keeping docs current.

Broken links often follow a rename, a release, or a moved help article. Hyperdocs brings product docs and help content together, with GitHub Sync and Docs Audit to help teams notice changes and review what needs updating.
